Venice for kids… What a surprise!

Kids in Venice? What do they do? Do they get bored? Not at all, Venice is rich of funny and scaring sculptures, activities, paintings showing monsters, delicious cookies.... They will surely appreciate our city!

Help! Is it true that in Venice there are no cars, nor buses or taxis and you have to walk all the time? What can we do if the kids get tired? Well, kids get quickly tired when they are bored. But Venice is not boring! Boys and girls, would you like to learn about how gondolas are built? Do you know why gondolas are always so “leaning”? Do you know how our artisans produce masks? Would you like to decorate a mask yourself? What do you think, how many lions are there in St. Mark’s Square? Have you ever seen any dragons? Do you know how children live in Venice and where they play? What about taking a ride on a gondola, in a taxi, or in a vaporetto? Would it be interesting to get engaged in a treasure hunt around Venice?
We can definitely organize for you a nice walk, during which you can both learn something and have fun. Afterwards, you will deserve a prize! Maybe, some good homemade icecream, or some of the delicious pastries of the renowned Venetian pasticcerie. In case it is cold outside, consider having hot chocolate with whipped cream in one of those special cafes where you can also find fine handmade chocolates and cookies.
