The Gallerie you don't expect: new openings at the Accademia Galleries in Venice

From August 31st, 2021 Starting from August 31st it will be possible to visit at the Accademia Galleries in Venice the new rooms dedicated to Venetian paintings of the 1600’s and 1700’s.
The great restoration program, both of the architectural structures and the works of art, is going on fast.
We will be able to admire masterpieces that have never been displayed before, such as the Parable of the Wise Virgins and of the Foolish Virgins by Padovanino,



as well as paintings that have been recently restored, as The Scourge of the Serpents by Giambattista Tiepolo



and Judith and Holofernes by the Venetian female painter Giulia Lama.



We will see again the Fortune Teller by Piazzetta,



the genre scenes by Pietro Longhi and several other paintings that it hadn’t been possible to admire for quite a while at the Galleries.
We will be waiting for you for a guided tour of the Accademia Galleries, to discover the beauty and the grandeur of the Venetian painting.
