The Room of the Four Doors in the Doges’ Palace in Venice has been reopened

December 2025  After a two year long restoration, the Room of the Four Doors in the Doges’ Palace in Venice has been finally reopened.
It is now possible to see the paintings by Titian and his workshop and by Andrea Vicentino: these works are essential for the historical narration concerning the Most Serene Republic.
However, the stunning revelation is the restored ceiling, with frescoes by Jacopo Tintoretto, which are now much cleaner and defined than they were before.
