Venice and the 2020 edition of the Carnival: Game, Love and Folly

February 8th-25th, 2020 The 2020 edition of the Carnival in Venice will start with the Parade on the Water along Rio di Cannaregio on Saturday, February 8th. This year the main theme of the Carnival will be “Game, Love and Folly”.

Quite a few events have been organized, both in the city and in the mainland: events for children, masquerades and balls in several Venetian prestigious palazzos.
Still, the most celebrated ones will again be the Flight of the Angel and the Flight of the Eagle in St. Mark’s Square, where also concerts, parades and contests for the most beautiful costumes will be held.
