From December 12th, 2021 to January 15th, 2022
On Dec 12th the fabulous
nativity scene close to Burano Island, in the Venetian Lagoon,
was inaugurated.The artist,
Francesco Orazio, created even
more figures than last year: there are
over 60 of them. As he stated, “this is a work of art that will never be completely finished”, since
he keeps adding figures.Last year his evocative nativity scene was destroyed by a storm. However Francesco, with the help of all the Venetians, was able to reconstruct it.
Members of the City Council, politicians from the Capital, journalists from all over the world came last year and are coming this year as well
to film or to take pictures of this majestic work of art that really
matches the lagoon environment.Here is the video we shoot:
Venezia ed il presepe nell'acqua in Laguna Burano Francesco Orazio took us, on
his little motor boat, on
a tour among the figures, so we were able to observe
all their beautiful details.
